Description:
Deep and irregular cracks that evoke in appearance dried mud in the dry paint film.
Possible causes:
- The paint film has high thickness.
- Too much paint accumulates in the edges of the wall during the installation.
- Inadequate preparation of the surface: contaminants not removed correctly.
Solution:
- Continue the instructions related to preparation of the surface for each product and particular application.
- Follow the recommendations related with number of coats as well as dilution to obtain the appropriate thicknesses in the dry paint film.
- Smooth the surface by sanding; apply a primer (if the cracks are very deep) and retouch.
