Description:
Premature or excessive lightening in the color of the painting, which occurs mostly in surfaces exposed to the sunlight. This defect is easy to see due to hidden areas generally do not fade.
Possible causes:
- The colors degrade for intense exposition to sunlight.

- Excessive chalking in the paint film.

Solution:
- If the painting is in good condition, except by the fading, retouch.
- Apply the type of paint according with the environment to protect: interior / exterior.
- Clean alkaline surfaces with water and a 10% solution of muriatic acid. Rinse with abundant water. Let the surface to dry and apply PVA-Acrylic. Once the surface is dry, apply the final finish paint. Use personal protection equipment in the case you use acids to clean the surface.
