Description:
Accumulation of dirt, particles of dust or other contaminants in the paint film.

Possible causes:

  1. Pollution.
  2. Zones of high automobile traffic.
  3. Garages confined.
  4. The surface on which the painting is applied is very porous.
  5. Paint formulated to interiors is applied in exteriors.

Solution:

    • Wash the surface. If the surface cleans by simple washing, it is not necessary to retouch.
    • In interiors: Remove spots and marks of dirt. Use a piece of cotton or other not abrasive material. Use water or a non abrasive cleaning product. It is recommended to dilute previously the cleaning agent in water. Rinse with clean water and let the surface to dry perfectly. Retouch if necessary.
    • In exteriors: remove the dirt with a brush and a solution of detergent; use pressed water. Rinse and let the surface to dry perfectly. Use semi gloss or satin paints instead of completely flat paints, due to smooth, satin or shine paints impacts in a reduction in the accumulation of dirt.
