RECOL® TRANSPARENCE

   Separation and conglomeration

   Low intensity of the color

Description

Formation of two phases inside the same can of product. In the case of the conglomeration, solid particles of product are presented.

 

Posible causes

The time of storage is very prolonged.
RECOL® TRANSPARENCE was mixed with thinner or mineral spirit.
RECOL® TRANSPARENCE is mixed with low quality water.
The can where the product is stored is not well covered.
The product is contaminated during its use.
 

Solutions

In case of light separation, incorporate the phases separated of the product with a clean spatula.
In case of conglomeration, if this phenomenon is light, continue to filter.
In case of contamination of the product, it is not apt to use anymore.
Make sure to cover perfectly the cans that contain the product.
Try to use the entire product as soon as possible.
Make sure the application tools are in good conditions before using the product.
Take care of the times of rotation of the product.
 
Description

The intensity of color obtained with RECOL® TRANSPARENCE in the final finish is not the wished one.

 
Posible cuauses
The product is over diluted.
There is no a suitable combination between the color of the base coat.
The tool for application is not appropriate for use.
 
Solutions
Do not dilute the product. If the technique implies dilution, make sure you use the proportion given.
Carry out a test of combination between the color of the product and the base coat before you start the final application.
If the product already applied has low color intensity due to over dilution, apply a new coat, using the same technique that was used at the beginning.
Change the tools no suitable for application for new ones.
 
Description
The final finish does not have the wished pearlescent shiny finish.
Sand the last coat to withdraw the product. Repair the imperfections of the base coat in order to have a smooth and even surface.
Make sure to apply the product once the previous coats are completely dried. Verify that the coats are dry by touch.
Shift to new tools.
Avoid dust particles or any other contaminant in the air during the application and drying of the product.
