RECOL® AP-1 is an additive formulated to prevent efficiently the formation of fungi or algae in interior or exterior walls where the conditions such as humidity and low or null ventilation predominate. Once the product is mixed directly with the paint or coating (water base) a reaction to protect the final finish is produced. RECOL® AP-1 does not generate loss of color or incompatibilities in the vinyl paint or water base coating. 

RECOL® AP-1 is used to protect water base products (such as vinyl paint or stuccoes) that are applied in humid places or without ventilation and hence are susceptible to the formation of fungi and algae. It is particularly efficient against the fungi that produce the destruction of film coatings; the product has an algaecide effect that covers a broad spectrum of activity against very common algae in the dry film of paints.
