Description:
Appearance of darkness, greater density of color or higher shine when two coats of painting overlap during the application of the paint.

Possible causes:

  1. Painting without a "wet edge" when is painted. Essentially, some areas receive two coats of paint.
  2. Painting on unsealed surfaces.
  3. Painting under high temperatures.

Solution:

  • Keep a “wet edge”: apply the paint first in the areas that are not previously painted and then go to the surfaces impregnated of paint. This technique let you to obtain a smooth, uniform appearance in the paint film. Work in areas of adequate size to paint.
  • Seal the surface with an appropriate primer to avoid the surface impregnates with the paint and dries too fast.
  • Start by applying the paint from the edge of the ceiling and continue to paint downward in sections of 1 m2.
  • Apply the paint in "N" pattern, starting from the dry to the wet area.
  • Finish doing a light retouch, downward and parallel to obtain a uniform finish
