Materials: Venetian Recol® Plaster azul milano, metallic spatula or trowel, a piece of plastic wrinkled, Recol® Tint negro and azul, sandpaper number 500, 600 and 1000, Recol® Wax, soft bristle brush, marine sponge and a recipient for mixture.

Step 1
Verify that the surface is porous and smooth, clean, dry, free of dust, grease, loose particles, paint in bad conditions or any other contaminant agent.
Extend slowly Venetian Recol® Plaster azul milano with the aid of a spatula and give the texture to this coat immediately with a piece of plastic wrinkled.
Step 2
Mix in a recipient Venetian Recol® Plaster azul milano with Recol® Tint negro and azul to intensify the color.
Sand superficially the surface painted in the step 1 with sandpaper number 500 and then withdraw the dust with a smooth bristle brush. Put the mixture obtained in a piece of cardboard; damp lightly the marine sponge or the piece of plastic wrinkled with the product in the cardboard and then apply it on the surface in random way and without covering it all (patches).
Modify again the color of the mixture with Recol® Tint azul and apply two or more coats of this mixture until leveling the surface.
Sand between dry coats with sandpaper number 600 and sand the last coat with sandpaper number 1000 to obtain an excellent sheen.
Step 3
If you want to shine the surface, verify that the edge of the spatula is sharp and does not present imperfections that may scratch the surface.
Shine by rubbing strongly the dry surface with the edge of the spatula.
If you want to obtain more sheen, apply with spatula a very thin coat of Recol® Wax, let it to dry and rub the surface again. Recol® Wax intensifies sheen and color, enhancing the hardness, resistance and washability of the surface.

The secret of this technique is to work with different hues of Venetian Recol® Plaster or modify the color with Recol® Tint to achieve the granite effect. You can carry out the sequence of color from light to dark or vice versa according to your requirements and you can obtain a greater contrast doing the sequence in more colors.
