Materials: Venetian Recol® Plaster trigo, spatula, trowel, sponge, Recol® Wax-neutral, sandpaper 500, 600 and 1000, recipient for mixture, smooth bristle brush.

Step 1
Verify the surface is porous and smooth, clean, dry, free of dust, grease, loose particles, paint in bad conditions or any other contaminant agent.
Apply a uniform coat of Venetian Recol® Plaster trigo to fill the surface and, once this coat has dried, apply a second coat and give it a light texture with a marine sponge before it dries.
Work this second coat in sections no bigger than one square meter.
Before the texture dries completely, level it smoothly with the aid of the metallic trowel.
Once the surface has been leveled, let it to dry completely.
Step 2
Sand superficially the coat from the step 1 with sandpaper number 500 and withdraw the dust with a smooth bristle brush.
Apply two or more thin layers (translucent) of Venetian Recol® Plaster, until achieving the leveling of the surface.
Sand between dry coats with sandpaper number 600 and sand the last coat with sandpaper number 1000 to obtain an excellent sheen.
Step 3
If you want to shine the surface, verify that the edge of the spatula is sharp and does not present imperfections that may scratch the surface.
Shine by rubbing strongly the dry surface with the edge of the spatula.
If you want to obtain more sheen, apply with spatula a very thin coat of Recol® Wax, let it to dry and rub the surface again. Recol® Wax intensifies sheen and color, enhancing the hardness, resistance and washability of the surface.

Take into account that smaller the texture of the sponge, less sponge effect but greater the yielding of the product and, conversely, grosser the texture of the sponge, more evident the sponge effect but less yielding of the product. To achieve more evident effects, change or modify lightly the hue of Venetian Recol® Plaster from the step 2. Do not forget to do a test to evaluate the colors and to visualize the final finish of your wall.
