Recol® Dye has as
function to modify the color of the wood, highlighting its grains or just
provide a uniform color. Recol® Dye can be used to
provide color to both catalyzed lacquers (Recol®’s Catalyzed Lacquer)
or sealers (Recol®’s Catalyzed Sealer) used to decorate and
protect the wood in interior ambiances.
Recol® Dye does not hide the grains of the wood.

Recol® Dye can
be mixed with catalyzed lacquers (Recol®’s Catalyzed Lacquer) or sealers

Apply directly Recol® Dye on the wood or dilute it previously with thinner in
order to obtain the hue desired.
Apply Recol®
Dye with aid of a piece of cloth, brush or conventional air sprayer (in this
case, it is recommended to employ low pressure).
Allow an
appropriate dry time: 5 minutes to touch and at least 30 minutes for retouch or
apply Recol® Dye directly with the lacquer or sealer.
Do not sand
once Recol® Dye has dried.
Carry out a
preliminary test to adjust the color, because the color of the wood and its
porosity affect the final color.
