The surface to paint with Recol® Traffic should be clean and free of humidity, dust, grease and oxide.

Repair substrates with holes or cracks due to they can affect the behavior of the product.

To use Recol® Traffic on concrete, neutralize previously the surface with a solution of 10% of muriatic acid in water.

Allow the muriatic acid solution to act for 15 minutes; rinse with abundant water, and allow the surface to dry perfectly and then apply Recol® Traffic.

To apply Recol® Traffic with specialized tools or machinery, consult previously the recommendations given by the technical department which manufacturersthe equipment.

Stir very well Recol® Traffic with a spatula and apply directly with brush or air sprayer.

Recol® Traffic is ready to apply. Do not dilute.

Apply Recol® Traffic to maximum 60ºC.

Apply from two to three coats of Recol® Traffic until achieving the thickness and hiding power desired.

It is recommended to plan the application of Recol® Traffic for the days in which the frequency of haste is low in order to avoid the rain and humidity before, during the application and the dried of Recol® Traffic, because these factors can alter the drying process and then diminish its adhesion

To enlarge the visibility of the signs, is recommended to add to Recol® Traffic (recently applied) between 300 and 400 grams of glass spheres type reflective per meter of signal.

Once the surface is painted with Recol® Traffic, avoid the traffic for at least 15 minutes in order to avoid damages in the paint film.

15 minutes after Recol® Traffic is applied it is possible to have traffic, but this traffic must be constant because standing on the paint film can generate its damage.
