Verify that the surface is porous and clean, dry, free of dust, grease, loose particles, paint in bad condition or any contaminant agent.

Correct the bigger imperfections of the surface such as holes, cracks or paint in bad condition before proceeding to apply.  Correct light imperfections and smooth the surface with RECOL® PLASTER, then paint with RECOLTEX® for exterior ambiances or with VINILCOL® for interiors. In the samples shown VINILCOL® white was used.

The drying time between coats is about one hour. Make sure the surface is completely dry before applying additional coats of RECOL® TRANSPARENCE, because wet surfaces can make more difficult the application and may damage the appearance of the finish.

The tools used for the application are nylon or polyester brush, spatula and protective plastic gloves.

It is advisable to practice the technique on a table or top before start the application in order to see the combination of colors between the base coat and the color(s) of RECOL® TRANSPARENCE. Make sure you stir the product at the beginning and during the application to get uniform colors in the surface to decorate
