Check that the surface is dry, clean, free of powder, oil, fat, moisture, free or in poor condition paint, lime, carbide or any other pollutant agent. Smooth surfaces must be sanded to facilitate the adherence of the product. Stir with a clean spatula Recol® Travertino in order to homogenize the product.

	Apply Recol® Travertino with a stainless steel spatula or trowel (preferable made of stainless steel), to a thickness of approximately 2mm.
	Texture with brush random areas of the still wet surface, in such a way that zones with irregular effect are created.
	Once the product begins to dry, smooth lightly the surface with the spatula or trowel to generate the textures that imitate the travertino effect.
	Before the product dries completely, repeat the smoothing with more pressure of the tool to compact the coat.
	In order to imitate the joints between blocks of stone, scratch that surface of Recol® Travertino with the edge of a spatula (or a screwdriver) forming the boxes of the wished dimensions. Use a bubble level and a rule to obtain straight horizontal and vertical lines. To accentuate the divisions between blocks, take sandpaper, double it and touch up the divisions.
	Once the product has dried completely, protect the surface from the water (rain) at least 24 hours before proceeding with the finish.
	Apply with brush a protective coat of Recol® Top Coat to provide a lasting and natural effect of the final finish. Use one quarter of Recol® Top Coat for every 30m² of Recol® Travertino. Spread very well the protective coat in such a way that it does not saturate the texture of Recol® Travertino.

For applications in exteriors and interiors it is absolutely necessary the use of Recol® Top Coat. To modify, enhance or detail the final color of Recol® Travertino, use Recol® Tint with Recol® Top Coat until the desired color is achieved. With the use of the sponge you can texturize or eliminate the excess of the product to obtain the clear-dark effect given by the contrast between the smooth surface and the texture of Recol® Travertino.
